2010 Cruisin' By!
Wow! The summer sure is cruising by. I can’t believe it is almost August…so much has happened…so many fun trips have already been had…and memories, of course.
The Golden Valley Gals hosted a fabulous State Rally in Clinton, Missouri on June 5th and 6th. We had great attendance and a load of fun. Have you ever eaten in Toad Suck? Well I can now say that I have and what about the game of Darts where you use a Quarter and a small cup? I have to say, I am the QUEEN! Wish you could have been there to see it. Thank you to ALL the Golden Valley Gals and the vendors that put together such a great event.
Several members in Missouri attended The Women on Wheels® 24th International Ride-In in Stratton, Vermont over July 6th, 7th and 8th. We had a great time but I thought Vermont was supposed to be a cool weather state. It was in the 90s all week and HOT! Nothing could squash our fun though and the riding around the North East is beautiful. Missouri once again took home the 2009 Annual Mileage Competition prize with several of our members winning for individual mileage. Let’s do it again this year!
Our State Rides to lunch are going great. I must have put on 10 pounds though I have promptly lost it due to all the excessive heat while riding home. Ha! If you have an idea of a place to eat for September, let me know as that is my month to decide and I haven’t yet. Check out the calendar on this website to find out where we will be next and we hope you can join us.

Women on Wheels 9th MO State Rally in Branson, June 6 - 8, 2008
LET THE RIDE SEASON BEGIN!
Welcome to the Missouri State Women on Wheels® Website. We hope that you find this site helpful. We have a lot of great events coming up in the next few months starting with the Women on Wheels® 2010 All Member Mileage Contest which begins on April 1st. The competition is RED HOT between the States but I am happy to report that Missouri continued to Ride Away with the prize in 2009 so let’s get our motors running and win again in 2010! The competition runs from April 1st to October 31st. You can join this friendly competition by completing the Starting Form on our Doc & Forms page and mailing it in to the address on the form.
The State Rally is scheduled for June 5th and 6th and this year we are going to continue the fun in Clinton, Missouri. This year’s Rally is organized by the Golden Valley Gals of Clinton and they have been busy with the all the exciting arrangements. For more information, you can contact me through this website or check out the agenda on the Doc & Forms page of this website. If you want to attend, just download the Registration form and mail it in! We hope you will find time in your busy schedule to join us.
